Office trip

On 18.11.21, Langenegger Architekten AG travelled to Winterthur by train. After croissants and coffee, we were given a guided tour of the famous Sulzer site. It was once the centrepiece of Winterthur's engineering industry. Today, the Sulzerareal microcosm is alive and growing. There was plenty to learn about the history of the former industrial quarter and we explored the new trendy neighbourhood on foot. We strolled past the boiler house, visited the ZHAW University Library and the "Kopfbau Halle 118", an extension built mainly from reclaimed building materials.

In the afternoon, we took to the skies. At the Windwerk in Winterthur, we were able to soar and forget everyday life momentarily. An unbelievably great experience. Special thanks for that!
